Bulang Ancient Tea Mountain has been operated and managed by Bulang people, descendants of the first "Pu people" who planted tea in Yunnan, and the ancient tea fragrance flows in their blood from generations. The tea villages are typical thousand-year-old ancient villages that coexists with the ancient forests. Walking into Lao Man'e is like walking into a distant time tunnel, as if returning to the original era of tea planting by Pu people.

This Brown Big Tree Sheng Pu'er cake is made of high-quality sun-dried raw tea from the pure large-leaf cultivar of Brown Mountain in Menghai County, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan. In Brown Mountain and even the whole Pu'er tea area, the tea is very bitter, but the production makes the tea strong, thick and mellow, full of domineering, and long-lasting sweetness. It is a fine work of Pu'er tea, suitable for tea lovers to drink, appreciate and collect.

The the tea master Zhuang Jin Li is the founder of her own tea company Shuangli. Previously retired from the famous Meng Hai Tea Factory as Chief Quality Officer, she has over 50 years experience in making Pu'er tea and has created many renowned classic pieces. She is one of the few in the industry who has mastered the traditional blending technology and unique fermentation process of Meng Hai Tea Factory.

As most Sheng Pu'er, aging is an important aspect. This cake is produced from 2007 and can be drunk directly. If you can resist the temptation, it can be stored up to decades for the more depth of flavors.
