Inspired by the Chinese lunisolar calendar, the Cha Moods Seasonal Tea Club is our way of following tea through the year.

We curate a quiet but expressive selection of rare, small-batch teas that feel natural to the season — shaped by harvest cycles, resting periods, and moments when a tea is simply ready to be shared. The focus is on discovery: teas we’re excited about right now, chosen for their timing as much as their quality.

Each seasonal box includes:

2026 pre Qing Ming Long Jing Quntizhong — Nutty Roast | Green Tea | Xihu

A fresh arrival of the season, made from local Quntizhong cultivar and finished with a slightly deeper roast. This brings out a rounder, more nutty profile — toasted chestnut, warm grain, and a soft, lingering sweetness. Classic Long Jing structure, with a fuller, more comforting expression.

2021 Jingmai Gushu Sheng Pu’er | Sheng Pu’er | Jingmai

We recently acquired the remaining stock of this batch directly from the farmer Laoba — a tea we’ve returned to again and again. Now freshly pressed into cakes, it shows early signs of aging: floral high notes, gentle bitterness, and a clean, expanding sweetness. Lively yet composed, with good structure for further development.

Alishan High Mountain | Oolong | Taiwan

A spring favorite from Taiwan’s high mountains. Grown at altitude and lightly oxidized, this Alishan offers creamy texture, fresh florals, and a clear, cooling finish. Soft yet expressive — the kind of tea that works effortlessly across multiple sessions.

Zhizihua Dancong Red Tea | Red Tea | Chaozhou

A red tea made from Zhizihua (gardenia flower) Dancong material. Floral, aromatic, and slightly honeyed, with a brighter, more lifted profile than typical red teas. Chosen for its floral character — a lighter, more playful expression for the season.
