Sourced for the third consecutive year from the core origin production area in Anji County. Yang will be in China during harvest and will personally carry the tea back to Amsterdam.
Two Close Harvests
This year we selected two Mingqian batches from the same location, picked just three days apart.
Though close in date, the difference is noticeable:
• 31st Mar 2026 Earlier pick — lighter, more floral lift
• 2nd April 2026 Slightly later pick — deeper umami, fuller texture
Same terroir. Subtle seasonal shift. Expect: Umami, Umami, Umami. And also:
• Spring blossoms
• Fresh-cut grass
• Soft floral sweetness
• Smooth, elegant finish
Compared to Long Jing, Anji Baicha has a quieter aromatic profile but stronger sustained freshness and umami.
Mingqian Anji Baicha yields are limited. Once sold out, this batch cannot be restocked.
