Yixing Longdan Duanni Teapot 200ml

This Longdan Teapot (龙蛋 (Lóngdàn),'Dragon Egg'. , 200ml) is crafted in Yixing clay through half handmade, zisha museum, 本山绿type duanni. 

This teapot is formed from Benshan Lü Ni (本山绿泥), a highly prized subtype of Duanni clay from the original layers of Huanglong Mountain. The raw ore appears pale green, but after firing it produces a warm, soft yellow tone with a distinctive porous texture.

Known for its ability to soften tannins and round the mouthfeel, Benshan Lü Ni is especially suited to brewing aged oolong, shu pu’er, and richer black teas. The clay’s breathability balances depth with smoothness in the cup.
