Yixing Hulu Jiangpo Teapot 240ml

This Hulu Xiangpo Teapot (降坡泥 (Xiàngpōní) , 240ml) is crafted in Yixing. The lid features a 壶葫芦 (Húlu) – gourd-shaped form. Fully handmade by 助工 (Zhùgōng) level artisan. 

The teapot is crafted from Xiangpo Ni (降坡泥), a rare clay sourced from lower slope areas near Yixing’s Huanglong Mountain. This clay is prized for its fine texture and natural mineral richness. After firing, Xiangpo Ni develops a subtle misty surface and excellent breathability, enhancing the clarity of tea aromatics.

Favored for brewing high aroma oolongs, fresh sheng pu’er, and teas that benefit from a pure, transparent liquor. Over time, the clay develops a gentle patina, making each pot more personal with use.
