This tea tray was wood-fired using local Jingdezhen porcelain clay Gaobaini and. The kiln atmosphere produced a surface reminiscent of a clear blue lagoon—soft celadon blues layered with pale turquoise kiln tears flowing naturally across the form.
Subtle 微瑕 from the firing remain visible: slight pooling, irregular glaze movement, and natural variations at the rim. These are not defects, but records of flame, ash, and timing—making this piece entirely singular.
A quiet, grounding tray suited for daily gongfu sessions or as a resting place for a favorite teapot.
A unique piece handmade by befriended Youning Studio in Jingdezhen.
