Hojicha is made by roasting Japanese green tea over high heat, transforming its fresh, grassy profile into something warm, comforting and deeply aromatic. Notes of toasted hazelnut, cacao and freshly baked bread emerge naturally from the leaves, while the roasting also softens the tea's bitterness and lowers its caffeine content.

Our Hojicha comes from the tea-growing region of Yame in Kyushu, where cool mountain nights help produce teas with remarkable sweetness before roasting. Rather than tasting smoky or burnt, this batch remains clean and balanced, with a gentle sweetness that lingers long after the cup is empty.
