Every Friday afternoon we pour Chinese tea at Salon 188 on the Singel canal, in collaboration with SALON188, at private tables for two to six. Each table tastes a flight of three teas, rare seasonal finds alongside classics, brewed gongfu style (功夫茶) and guided through origin, craft, aroma, flavour and texture, with the stories behind each tea. The sessions are made for enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
SALON188 is a contemporary reboot of the classic salon, connecting Asian and European art, culture, ideas and people through curated events and exhibitions, so every tasting also includes a tour of the exhibition on at the time.
