Also known as Tongtianxiang — "Heavenward Aroma"

Jianghuaxiang is one of the more elusive and high-toned Dancongs, prized for its otherworldly floral sharpness that seems to pierce upward—hence the poetic name Tongtianxiang, or "Aroma Towards Heaven." This cultivar evokes the delicate yet spicy bloom of fresh ginger flowers, rare even in their native habitat. It grows best in older, high-elevation bushes where mist and mineral-rich soils shape its intense aromatic profile.

Our Jianghuaxiang is plucked from 80-year-old trees at 850m on Wudong Mountain and lightly roasted to preserve its vibrant floral headiness. If Milanxiang is all depth and resonance, Jianghuaxiang is a high soprano—flashing with spice, citrus blossom, and alpine clarity. A Dancong for those who love verticality, freshness, and precision.

Fresh ginger blossoms, citrus peel, crushed herbs
