100-year-old-bush High Mountain Honey Orchid Dancong (Milanxiang)

Mi Lan Xiang — Honey Orchid — is high-mountain 老枞 from hundred-year bushes on Wudong, Phoenix Mountain, around 950 metres. Our 2025 spring lot was made by Tea Master Mr Wen with a strong bake in four rounds, so the perfume carries depth as well as scent.

Century trees and altitude give staying power: a clean, steady cup through about ten infusions, still elegant under the heavier roast, sweet on the finish without going muddy. Deeper than our daily Honey Orchid — warm honey and orchid with burnt sugar and baked stonefruit, then mineral and stewed apricot, toasted spice at the end.

We keep this strong-bake old-bush Milanxiang beside the weekday Mi Lan Xiang, not instead of it — the weighty end of the trio when you want perfume with more body.
